浅析汉英翻译中文化缺失及其补偿策略 　　【Abstract】A major purpose of translation is to correctly transfer the meaning，pursuing the harmonious coexistence of different cultures. However, each culture has its uniqueness with its own development, which possibly poses difficulty to translators and leads into the Cultural default during the process of information transmission. From this point of view, the interaction between people from different cultures requires translating activities, which makes itself an indispensable bridge to conduct the cross-culture communication. As one part of culture, one could not adequately translate one language into another, without knowing well the cultures rooted in the other languages.
