The new generation spectral library is characterized by the matching of terrain feature’s structure, spectral, knowledge library and model library. Its destination is to resolve problems existed in the constructs and applications of formal libraries, and make spectral library play an important role in the process of spatial information industrialization. The combination of data and models and network sharing is its main character, which poses a great demand to the network based management and operation.
