ABSTRACT Scientific literacy research is an important field in recent decades in which chemical literacy exists as an crucial part. Meanwhile, Chemical Literacy Related to Life is an important component to chemical literacy. Besides, the new chemistry curriculum standards also encourage that chemistry should be more related to real life, which points out exactly the importance of cultivation of senior school students of Chemical Literacy Related to Life. Although the new high school curriculum has been put into effect for 14 years, there still exist plenty of problems of teaching practice of Chemistry and Life module. This research uses Chemical Literacy Related to Life elementary studies, especially teaching design module focusing on facilitating the development of Chemical Literacy Related to Life, based on Chemistry and Life published by the Peoples Education Publishing House, uses the second year senior students as the objects of study which are 40 students of experimental class and 40 students of control class, and actualize a series of teaching practice to two classes with a teaching design facilitating the development of Chemical Literacy Related to Life and one that prepared by the school teaching group. After the study of the Chemistry and Life for the whole semester, the students get tested for their Chemical Literacy Related to Life and the teaching practice get analyzed and discussed to judge the effect of the Chemical Literacy Related to Life so that we can promote and complete the teaching design module of facilitating the development of Chemical Literacy Related to Life. At the end of the research, it draws a conclusion of the features of facilitating the development of Chemical Literacy Related to Life by teaching practice.
