Abstracts At present, the reformation on channel-based management system in domestic broadcasting television industry indicates a development trend of this industry. Local broadcasting television medias are also making exploration in channel system reformation within the transformation from the old supervision agencies similar to governmental units to present management system mainly dominated by market operations. Combining through the development of Chinese television media industry, this article compares the two different management systems in domestic industry of center-based system and channel-based system from theoretical and practical prospective as well as evaluating the current market situation, governmental policies and future development of the broadcasting television industry, especially the city TV stations. The article analyzes the actual operating mechanism of some channel-based management systems and focuses on the Yangzhou Television Station channel system reformation as a sample for detailed analysis and evaluation to make conclusion on an ideal model more suitable for the development of city broadcasting television medias. Based on the principle of theory with practice, this article compares the two management system of center-based system and channel-based system from the management prospective by document study, comprehensive analysis and sample research. The article concludes the reformation experience in domestic television industry and makes comparative analysis on different channel-based management system in current domestic television industry. The article makes detailed analysis on the channel-based management system reformation in Yangzhou Television Station started from 2011 as sample research to explore the successes and losses in the reformation.
