This document: Highlights issues which are critical to the successful business use of the Oracle systems , SPADE and associated tools Is to be used in conjunction with Renaissance project training materials Refers the user to other instructions set-up for Risk Management purposes. These guidelines apply to all Capgemini project managers, pursuit leaders, account managers and discipline leaders. Basic concepts in Oracle 2.2.1 What is a client in Oracle? One project needs to be associated to one client, and only one. However, one client can be associated to several projects. A contract with a separate legal entity requires a separate client. Each subsidiary company of a client needs to be set up as a client in Oracle if invoices are to be issued to that subsidiary company. Each client must have an owner (account manager) who is an employee of the country where the client is set up. A client must be set up before a project can be set up as a pursuit or as an engagement. 2.2.1 What is a project in Oracle?
