II II Abstract The concept of entrepreneurship education was raised by the Australian Doctor named Eliade in Beijing International Symposium on Education for the 21st Century, which was held by the United Nations Educational，Scientific，and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in November 1989.Dr. Eliade considered that entrepreneurship education is the third passport of learning and holds equally important position with academic education and vocational education. It is the introduction and research of entrepreneurship education that leads the inevitable researching and developing trend of Chinese undergraduate education. However, the current exploration of entrepreneurship education in China is mainly concentrated in the top universities rather than the local colleges. Local colleges play an important role in providing innovative talents for local economic development while the existing entrepreneurship education research has failed to effectively serve the high-quality local undergraduate education. Thus, the local undergraduate entrepreneurship education research is particularly urgent and necessary. In this paper, we focus on the current local undergraduate entrepreneurship education research and investigate in the following five local undergraduate aspects: entrepreneurial interests, attitude and entrepreneurial aspirations; entrepreneurial motivation and purpose; comprehensive quality required for entrepreneurship; difficulties as well as risk awareness in entrepreneurship and the evaluation of current situation in local undergraduate entrepreneurship education. All data is obtained through questionnaires and interviews from four hundred students in four local colleges in Jiangxi province. There are four sections in this paper.
