TRAMS enables you to receive transaction from multipe sources using a single system that interfaces with multiple application end points. This capability provides integration between applications，promoting more timely transfer of information between these applications. TRAMS provides numerous storage and reporting functions to facilitate and support its processes. TRAMS moves beyond the traditional concept of user exits by enabling you to define specific components. Rather than restricting you to specific hooks within a program, TRAMS and its application generator enable you to implement your own templates and code segments. Templated code can include calls to programs outside of TRAMS to perform specific functions. The transaction that TRAMS handles can come from a variety of sources. In turn，the transactions are routed to varying destinations. The destination usually is different from the source organization for posting or exception processing. The source and destination may also be the same ectity. Sources and destinations within TRAMS are represented by combinations of institutions and applications. An institution feeds transactions to or receives transactions from TRAMS， and can be any organizational entity that generates，posts, or otherwise manipulates
