Abstract
It is widely believed that Information and
Communication Technology (ICT) enable
organizations:
to decrease costs;
to increase capabilities;
to change interorganizational coordination
Abstract
ICT could be driving force to change
interorganizational coordination; however, other
aspects have also impacts on interorganizational
coordination. Those aspects:
are described and combined with ICT;
are guidelines presented to indicate the direction of
changing interorganizational coordination;
These guidelines are translated to the container
transport industry for evaluation purpose;
conclusions lead to further research on the impact of
ICT on interorganizational coordination.
