万方数据 万方数据 Abstract Object: To investigate the effect of the health education implementation sheet on health education for patients with cataract in ophthalmology department. Methods: First, make the health education implementation sheets, and choose the in-patients with cataract in ophthalmology department of Yankuang Group hospital as research subjects. The control group of 150 are given health education in traditional ways, namely, to implement health education without any limit. The observation group of 150 are given health education by using the health education implementation sheets, namely, on admission, the primary nurse will begin implementing health education on in-patients with cataract by using the health education implementation sheets. The health education shall be finished in a proper way in given time, given the follow-up evaluation, indicated the exact time and signed when each item is finished. Last, provide each patient with questionnaires and observe the patients in two groups and collect the results of the rate of the patients’ mastery of knowledge about cataract, the patient’s degree of satisfaction for nursing service and the incidence rate of the postoperative complications. Results: The observation group obviously perform better than the control group in both the rate of the mastery of knowledge(Z = -12.244，P 0.001) and the degree of satisfaction（Z = -14.839，P 0.001）, which indicates the health education is effective. When performing the exact probability test on the incidence rate of complications in each group, we find there is no statistical significance (P = 0.247) on the difference between the two groups. Conclusion: The results of the research shows the use of the health education implementation sheets contributes to improving the rate of the mastery of knowledge and increase the knowledge reserve of the patients about the relative diseases, which contributes to improving the patient’s degree of satisfaction for nursing servic
