II II III III ABSTRACT ABSTRACT With the accelerating development of the urbanization, the city emerge an unprecedented prosperity of urban construction in our country. At the same time, the traditional urban form take a dramatic change, urban ecological environment also appear degradation. With the rise of environmental protection and global ecological consciousness awakening, the function of green space was concerned more and more. As an important carrier of the urban ecosystem, urban green space has a positive role to alleviate the urban problems, is the important content of urban ecological protection and to realize the sustainable development of urban, and gradually formed the ideas of “green space first” in urban planning and design. Papers starting from the perspective of urban morphology, and strive to use the theory to analysis and study the morphology of urban green space in urban morphology, building through the green space system, create a ecological health and more rational functional structure of urban form. Carries a wide range of functions and meanings of urban green space, has immeasurable value and impact of the process of human growth and urban development. Connected to the mesh, urban and rural integration of green infrastructure is the development direction of urban green space, is also the protection of the sustainable and healthy development of the city. In this paper, research results expected to provide some theory and practice for the construction of green space in the citys present and future reference. Firstly, this paper defines the concept of city morphology and city green space, and introduces the related theories of city morphology. Secondly, describes the history and influence factors of green space, summarizes the morphological characteristics and functions in construction activity in green space. Thirdly, summarizes four typical modes of city form, from two levels of macro and meso, analyzes the characteristics of different scales
