Abstract
SFBT, one of the extensively approved methods for psychological consultation and treatment all over the world, which performs pretty good on individual consulting and group counseling, is now gradually applied to the psychological counseling in the school. Recently, our society is pay more attention to the pressures senior high school students are facing with in life and study in order to take corresponding measures. This research aims to explore the possibility of the applying and promoting of SFBT in improving the way to deal with of senior high school students and designs the study on interventions that how SFBT inflects senior high school students’ reactions based on the reference of domestic and overseas researches.
This study plans to help senior high school students to set targets and find approaches for solving problems, try positive concepts and experience in themselves, rebuild their comprehension of problems, learn according coping styles and improve them, form mature coping styles and apply to life through 8 SFBT tutors. The destination of this research is discussing the feasibility and effectiveness of the performances SFBT works on abilities of senior high school students’ coping styles. We use scale evaluation and interview, quantitative and qualitative evaluation combined methods before and after intervention.
The results of the study show that:
SFBT improved senior high school students’ coping styles and helped them form concepts of facing the problems positively.
SFBT improved senior high school students’ Anxiety,depression mood. They gradually
ensured their potential ability, found and used the positive force they have actively.
SFBT improved the social supports of high school students, increased the degree of their social supports and enriched their social support recourses.
