⑧ ⑧ 硕士举住论吏 MASTER’S THEStS ＼、—／ 要衔接手段是指称和省略，而由中国作家写作的语篇则是连接词。另外，虽然衔接 不能保证连贯，但衔接是连贯的重要手段，连贯语篇通过一些形式特征，如语篇结 构、衔接等得以体现，只不过具体表现在两类语篇中时，有其异同而己。总的说来， 从语境与语义的角度看两类语篇同大于异。 研究表明，功能文体学可适用于对比语篇研究，是对比语言研究的有效工具， 同时也表明语气结构和及物性结构也是语篇结构的一部分，可作为语篇分析的内 容。 关键词：功能文体学；语篇分析；对比；旅游语篇；衔接；连贯 AbstractText Abstract Text analysis，as 011e of the branches of linguistics has been developed in re．,ecnt years．Many scholars have done a lot of researches in this field and published many articles．However,comparative t麟t analysis hash’t been paid much attention to until 1980s and it is very important to seek appropriate linguistic theories嬲its t001．Moreover, the comparison of English traveling texts written respectively by native and Chinese writers is still a gap． Therefore．the present study makes龃attempt to compare lraveling texts written by native English writers and by Chine∞writer,with Functional Stylistics aS a tool,and Ch／na and The Sights ofChhta as corpus data,tO find the similarities and differences of textual properties between them and to testify the applicability and effectiveness of Functional Styfisties in comparative text analysis． Functional Stylistics is a branch ofmodem St如sties．In the broad sense,it refers to the stylistic theories taking a11 the funetiom of language笛their basis to explore style of language．Functional linguistics is the basis ofthis kind oftheories．In the llarrow娜e． functional stylistics takes SFL aS its theoretical basis．The present study is prone to adopt the latter point of view and take Functional Styfisties as the theoretical basis to inake a comparative analysis of Iraveling texts by native and Chillese writers．Functional Styfisties pays attention to language functions and different language structures determined by different language functions，such a,S tlaematie stnictllre,transitivity and focus 011 the stylistic effects produced by different language structures． According to Halliday,text is a semantic unit．It must satisfy three conditions： generic structure
