AbstractNational Abstract National education in Hong Kong prima叮and secondary schools is a l(ind of education which cultivate the students in Hong Kong“Chinese,’ identity and t11e sense of belonging to Chilla.Initial success haVe been achieved since the HKSAR govemment implementedⅡ1e National Education i11 accordance with the actllal situation i11 Hong Kong prima巧 and seconda巧schools in 1 997.The Success is inSpirational si鲥flcant to strengmen me ideological and p01itical education in mainlalld schools under me condition of socialist market economy and me economic globalization. ne anicle has made me enli咖e砌ent t110ugh me analyzing the comprehensive docⅧnentation of national edllcation m Hong Kong sch001s,and throu曲me coInpadson me difrerences between the national education in Hong Kong and t11e ideological and p01itical e(Iucation in t11e our mainland schools.
