华中科技大学硕士学位论文Abstract 华中科技大学硕士学位论文 Abstract l,aser 3-D inner cutting is a new laser process．In the process the special laser beam is dilated and then focused into the block of transparent material．At the locus，temperature is SO high that it can degrade the material．After scanning，material can be even departed easily．And the prototypes are designed by the soft of auto CAD．This process is known for that its easy and quick to operating．But not all of materials are fitted for it．This dissertation searched materials，which can be property cutting by laser． To find the material，laser cuts the transparent polymersin sales such as polystyrene and polycarbonate．The surface is watch by SEM．In the surface，there are many pores like honeycomb．In the center of the pores there is a pile of coke．By the color of the laser-carving surface，it Can be divided into the three zones，which are zones of back charcoal，part charcoal and the dividing zone by power．For the black charcoal it result from the temperature high enough that almost all ofthe polymer in the locus degrade into black charcoal．Ifsome part ofthe polymer degrades，it is the gray in the picture ofSEM． In some area the polymer just thaw for the temperature is not enough high and condensation after laser scanning．They show the white color in the picture of the SEM for they are departed by power in the process after laser cutting．The powder from the laser cutting surface are assayed and described with FI-IR．Raman and XPS．Analyzing the absorbing curving before and after laser cutting，it can be found that the absorbing values in FI．IR are almost the same and what’S the difference is the absorbing intension． Raman confirms the black charcoal is amorphous carbon．What’s more，XPS judge what value ofoxygen and carbon on the surface is． There are other factot％such as laser power,scanning speed and pulse of the laser that will have effect with the quality of cutting surface．1f those three factors are well fitted with each other,material wil
