教学目标:
1. Learning objectives:?(1) Learn to talk about how to get to places.
(2) Be able to use special questions “how, how long, how far” proficiently.
(3) Be able to use verb phrases and prepositional phrases correctly, for example, take the bus, by bus, on the bus.
2. Ability aims: To improve the students listening and speaking abilities.
3. Emotion aims: Teach the students to obey the traffic rules.
学情分析:
The students in Grade Seven dont have much knowledge about English. They dont have a big vocabulary. I need to improve their listening and speaking abilities. I help them to talk about how to get to places.
重点难点:
Key points: Be able to use special questions about “how” correctly.
Difficult points: Be able to distinguish between “how long” and “how far”.

Let the students to watch a video, and talk about how to get to places.

T: Can you tell me how to get to school?

Step 3 Read learning objectives
T: First, read learning objectives. Who can?

T: Now let’s look at some pictures of different transportations. Listen to the sound, and tell us what transportation. Listen carefully.

T: Good! And how do you get to school?
S: I get to school by bus.
Step 4 Pair work
Practice the conversations.
T: Now look at the picture and make conversations with your partners. Give you two minutes.
(Students practice in pairs.)
Step 5 Match the words with the pictures.
Step 6 Listening
After practicing, let’s look at 1b, listen and write the numbers next to the correct students in the picture. Before listening, you should look at the pictures and sentences carefully.
