内容摘要语言是交际的符号，语言与文化密不可分。语言文化与交际是一 内容摘要 语言是交际的符号，语言与文化密不可分。语言文化与交际是一 个不可分割的统一体。学习语言的目的是为了交际，英语教学的目的 是为了培养学生的交际能力，但真正的交际能力既包括语言能力，也 包括社会文化能力。因此，英语教学既应该包括英语语言知识教学， 又应该包括语言文化知识教学。近几年来，诸多文章专著对语言文化 知识的重要性开展了不同角度、不同层次的论证和阐述。但由于种种 原因，重视英语教学中文化知识的重要性，在教学中渗透文化知识的 内容，还没有真正落到实处。基于上述原因，本文运用分析、讨论、 调查和论证的方法，从交际、跨文化交际和跨文意识三者的概念的界 定入手，对语言文化和交际三者的关系进行讨论，通过对中学生英语 文化知识的调查，从大纲教材和学习语言及跨文化交际的角度对文化 知识在跨文化交际中的重要性进行论证，并对教学中如何渗透文化知 识，培养学生跨文化意识的途径进行探讨。中学英语教学在进行语言 知识传授的同时，还必须进行语言文化知识的教学。只有这样，才能 真正培养学生的英语交际能力，才能真正实现英语教学的目标。 本选题的重点在于研究讨论英语教学中培养学生跨文化意识的必 要性和实现英语教学中语言知识和语言文化的有机结合的重要性；难 点在于探讨语言知识与语言文化相结合的原则和途径。充分发挥英语 课堂教学的优势，通过不同的教学方法，把真正培养学生综合运用语 言能力的教学目标落到实处是该选题的创新之处。在目前形势下研究 讨论在中学英语教学中注意培养学生的跨文化交际意识，注意在英语 课堂实现英语教学与英语文化的有机结合，对于培养学生综合运用英 语的能力和进行跨文化交际的能力，对于提高英语教学质量具有十分 重要的意义。 关键词：跨文化意识 必要性 原则 途径 AbstractAs Abstract As communicative symb01．a language is closely related witll its culture． Lying in the continuum，language，culture and communication be separated from another．With the cultivation of communicative ability which consists of linguistic competence and socio·cultural competence its goal，the teaching of English should orient towards both linguistic knowledge and socio—cultural knowledge．The importance of integrating these two aspects into the classroom language teaching has been discussed in different journals，which has really exerted great influence the ELT．But for different things do proceed expected and required．In this connection，this dissertation，sets out give clear definition of communication，cross-cultural communication，discuss the relationships between these three aspects，and further expound the necessity foster the ofcross．cultural communication． The focal point in this dissertation lies in the importance of cultivating the students’sense of cross-cultural communication and integrating both the linguistic knowledge and sociocultural knowledge．The present author attempts present principles and techniques in this area wim the hope that the research be of some help for middle school teache
