PAGE PAGE IV Abstract This dissertation main discusses three syllables combination questions on “dong+ming” of Shubin combination and “ming+ming” of Pianzheng combination with single syllable and double syllables in modern Chinese. The constraints of collocation on single syllable and double syllables are many. Syntax, semantic, pragmatic, rhythm, cognitive and other factors may affect the legitimacy of combination. This paper will analysis the impact of cognitive factors about three syllable combination questions on “dong+ming” of Shubin combination and “ming+ming” of Pianzheng combination in modern Chinese with the basis of previous research. At the same time this paper will study the related phenomenon of language. The main body is divided into 5 chapters. Chapter 1 is introduction.Brief description of this paper, the idea of the source and scope of the issues discussed in this paper. There are the performance of a certain inclination in rhythm of the structure about “dong+ming” of Shubin combination and “ming+ming” of Pianzheng combination in three syllables. There are different points of view in the academic world. But every view of this explaination have certain limitations. This paper will study the problems mainly from the perspective of cognitive semantics on the basis of research results of Wang Canlong and others.In this paper, the discussion is limited to “dong+ming” of Shubin combination and “ming+ming” of Pianzheng combination in three syllables. Chapter 2 discusses the interpretation of Prosodik. This section mainly inspected Feng Shengli, Duanmu San, Lu Bing Fu, Wu Weishan who for good results. Rhythm syntactic theory can be given a better explanation in certain linguistic phenomenon on three syllables composition in modern Chinese, but there are some limitations. Whether the step-generated rules theory of Feng Shengli, stress theory of Duanmu San and Lu Bingfu or for good “after the former-tight” rules of Wu Weishan can only explain part of the l
