Abst Abst ract By using the modern education technology and the multi—discipline theory， the purpose of this paper is to discuss the teaching method in the practice class with the help of the multi—media courseware． Taking the advantage of rich information，strong interactiveness and convenient operation in the multi—media courseware， the teacher can guarantee and improve the teaching quality to the best in the basketball skill 1essons． And meanwhile， this way of teaching can also provide soⅢe references in the terms of co埘bination between the sport practice class teaching and the modern educat ion techn0109y． This article takes the breakthrough technology of the basketball from outside—perimeter as the study object， using the comprehensive methods such as the material analyzing method， the network inquiry method， the survey method， the system design method， courseware眦king method， teaching experiment method and(1ata statistic method． The courseware mainly uses the Authorware software， widely collects domestic and foreign special basketball mterials and sources in terms of theories， pictⅡres and video recordings． With the breakthrough techn0109y of the basketball from outside—perimeter as the main content， the author edits the overall design， interface， unit elements， interactive ways and scene creation， then arranges them and finally made it． The courseware participated the national multimedia courseware competition which was organized by the Education Ministry in October，2006， and got the third prize． This courseware also received affirmation and the high praise from the experts． After the complement of the courseware， wi th the basketbal l major students in athletic department in the Capital Sports Institute as the experimental object，the author conducted a teaching experiment research， and processed the obtained data， then drew the conclusion as f01low： 1． The design and the珊anufacture of this courseware fully manifests the modern education though， conform
