The shanzhai culture is the Purport of shanzhai phenomenon. As a new cultural formation, it has unique formation mechanism, cultural characterization, and meaning of existing. First, each culture is the resultant of social, its a miniature of modern society. Second, as a popular cultural paradigm, the Shanzhai culture is not only caused by economic factors but aslo caused by Social, cultural and many other factors. At last, under the influence of these factors, includ requirement of the times, media communication, psychological desire of the grass-roots, relatively liberal cultural policies in mordern time, rising of civilian culture, coexistence of multi-culture, the shanzhai culture emerged. Next, the Shanzhai culture emerged in the multicultural time, it espacially accepted the influence of the post- modernist culture, it displays the characters of the grass-roots, the intertexuality and the margin, it implicates the deep cultural connotation. The Shanzhai culture was the outburst of the grass-roots spirits, it also was a carnival, it palyed a word game by the way of the parody and the collage to fight the rights of speaking for the common people.
