The first part deals mainly describes his thoughts origins and its background. As we know any thoughts can not give birth from zero and thoughts is formed on their basis and realist basis .Faced with a bad troubled china, he associated his writings to the motherland . The second part deals with mainly his ethical thoughts. Humanity has been the main topic for ethnicists. As a philosopher Feng YouLan has a profound research it in the new confucianism . After answering the question on the goodness of human nature ,he pointed that man is rational and man can change one’s mood and shape oneself positively .The whole meaning of life is self consciousness. Without it ,there is no light for life and with it there seems to be light, there are four levels of self consciousness. natural state, utilitarian state, moral state and universal state .they are help for to elevate the states .right and wrong are also main topic .Feng YouLan divides it into moral ethic behavior ,immoral and unethical behavior ,he is not only a philosopher ,but also he focued on daily ethics and in Xin shi xun he pointed out the common people’s moral standards. Though he has a low opinion of the book, it is just modest and in fact it pointed out the moral standards for everyone ,or the smart art of life and has it is instructive for moral accomplishment. The third part summarized the features of Feng YouLan’s morality ,pointed out the real significance.
