Warming up
I. Present three pictures about e-life and ask the students to look at them and guess:
What topic are they about?
II. Tell the students they are going to learn more about e-products and e-life.

I. Ask the students to read the statements on Page 97. Remind them to apply the reading skills they have learnt. Then ask them to finish the “true” or “false” questions:
□ People can publish their text updates on microblogs.
□ People can share anything with their best friends.
□ People can attract others’ attention through writing microblogs.
□ There are some photo editors that offer the magic of Photoshop free of charge.
□ You can only deal with new photos with Photoshop.
II. Play the tape. Ask the students to read out the two passages on Page 97.
III. Divide the students into groups and ask them to read the passages aloud.
Ⅳ. Ask the students if they write or publish their texts on microblogs and how they feel about using microblogs.
Extension activity
I. Ask the students to form into groups, write down their own activities about e-life.
