Module 4 Seeing the doctor Unit 3 Language in use (1) 教学设计 一、教学目标 1. 能够灵活运用本模块的重点单词和短语:cough, fever, headache, stomach ache, toothache, ill, this, since, cold, catch a cold, take sb’s temperature, fast food, health, well, heart, active, pet, member, take part (in sth.), sleepy, then, daily, weak, exercise等。 2. 学习本模块的重点句子: I haven’t done much exercise since I got my computer last year. I have had him for three months now. Since then, it has become part of my life. 总结和巩固以since和for引导时间状语的现在完成时态;能够区分延续性和短暂性动词。 能够听懂关于健康生活习惯的表述并提取细节信息。 能够读懂关于饮食和运动习惯的短文。 二、教学重点及难点 重点: 1. 掌握本模块的单词和短语。 2. 总结和巩固以since和for引导时间状语的现在完成时态。 难点: 通过各种形式的活动和练习使学生更好地掌握现在完成时。 三、教学准备 1. 多媒体设备和课件; 2. 教学光盘。 四、教学过程 Step Ⅰ Warming-up Look, read and find. (1) Show some groups of sentences to the Ss. (Each group has two sentences: one is a sentence that uses the past simple, the other is a sentence that uses the present perfect.) (2) Ask Ss to work in groups and find what the differences are between the two kinds of sentences, pay attention to the words in red. 设计意图:通过读句子,观察句子之间的区别,引出今天要学习的语法知识。 Step Ⅱ Presentation Language practice Show the sentences in Language practice and Ss read them aloud. T: Read the sentences individually, and pay attention to the expressions in red. Grammar Learn the grammar of this module. 现在完成时表示动作或状态从过去某一时刻开始、一直持续到现在,多与“since + 点时间”或“for + 段时间”连用。for表示“经过(一段时间)”,而since表示“自从(……以来)”。 常见结构如下: for + 表示一段时间的状语 一段时间+ ago since + 表示过去的某一时间点 从句 在对现在完成时的时间状语进行提问时,我们常用how long。 英语中有些动词的意义不能持续,表示的是一瞬间就结束的动作,这些动词被称为非延续性动词或短暂性动词。 常见的有 come, leave, go, lose, see, begin, start, arrive, become, die, buy, borrow, close, join, reach, fall, get up 等。这类动词可以用于完成时态,但在肯定句中不能与表示动作延续的时间状语 for 或 since 短语连用。 如果要与表示动作延续的时间状语 for 或 since 短语连用,并用于肯定句中,就需要把非延续性动词改为延续性动词。上面的句子可改为He has been back for three days. 设计意图:帮助学生总结语法知识,便于系统掌握。 Step ⅡI Practice Grammar Exercises 1.
