【教材分析】
本节课为外研社八年级英语(下)Module8 Unit1 I can hardly believe we’re in the city center第一课时,从内容上看,主要谈论的是玲玲、大明和TONY游览北京名胜北海公园的经历,这是比较贴近学生日常生活的话题;北海花园,不像长城和故宫等其他名胜,对于部分学生来说比较陌生,需要背景知识的支持;从语言上看,对话中在给予评价、表达观点和提出建议时,自然用到了that引导的宾语从句,宾语从句作为语法点首次出现;从情感培养上看,通过介绍北海公园,激发学生对大自然的热爱。

T: Look at the beautiful picture. What can you see?
Where is it ? Can you guess?
Yes. It’s the Beihai Park. Lingling and Betty are talking about it, let’s listen what they are talking about.

B. Listen and check.
1 Tony has/hasn’t heard about Beihai Park.
2. Tony guesses that the park is very popular /not very popular.
