Where does it come from? Look at the two pictures and the title of the passage and predict what will be talked about in the passage. Ss read the sentence and answer the questions . According to the title predict what will be talked about in the passage. To notice the Western drama and Peking Opera visually, which may help Ss have a better understanding of the reading material. Activity 2 (6’) T asks Ss to read the passage quickly and find out what the author’s purpose of writing the passage. Ss read the passage quickly and find the main idea and answer the question. To train reading skills of locating certain information.
