一、教学目标:
知识目标:学生能在图片、录音和老师的帮助下读懂并理解故事内容。
能力目标:培养学生的听力、能够通过看故事题目及插图预测故事、推测故事大意等活动法发展简单的阅读技巧。
情感目标:培养学生主动学习意识和英语阅读兴趣。
二、教学重、难点:
1、理解全文大意。
2、培养学生阅读英语故事的兴趣。
三、教学过程:

T:Now let us hear about a wolf ,a sheep and a clever monkey.If not for the quick thinking of the monkey,the sheep might have ended up as dinner for the wolf.

Please look at this picture. (P1)
Who is in the picture? A wolf and a sheep.
What seems to be the problem for the wolf ? He can’t get out of the hole.
Is the sheep scared when he sees the wolf in the hole? Yes, he is.
Please look at this picture. (P2)
What does the wolf want the sheep to do? He wants the sheep to pull him out.
Why does the sheep say no? Because he thinks the wolf will eat him.
What does the wolf promise to the sheep? He promises not to eat the sheep.
Do you think the wolf will keep his promise? No.
Please look at this picture. (P3)
What is the sheep doing? He is pulling the wolf.
Do you think it is clever of the sheep to help the wolf? Why?
No. Because the wolf will eat him.
Please look at this picture. (P4)
What happens when the wolf is out of the hole? He wants to eat the sheep.
Who is crying for help now? The sheep.
Please look at this picture. (P5,6) Who is coming ? A monkey。
The monkey thinks about it, then he has a plan. What is his suggestion?
“Do it again”!
Please look at this picture. (P7-8)
Who is in the hole? The wolf.
What does the monkey tell the sheep? He is a bad wolf.
Are you happy for the sheep? Yes.
Do you feel sorry for the wolf? No.
Do you think the monkey is clever? Yes.
Think: Do you think the wolf will ever get out of the hole?
