学情内容分析
This teaching period mainly deals with the grammar:the use of “it”.The impersonal pronoun “it” is used frequently in English and has many different functions.“It” can be used in the subject or object position,to stand for an infinitive,-ing form or a clause.The impersonal pronoun “it” can be used to talk about time,distance,weather,etc.“
教学主题
In this period we will focus on only part of its usages,that is,the use of “it” when the subject of a sentence is a clause,an infinitive,or the -ing form and formal object.

1.To let the students learn the use of “it”.
2.To enable the students to use “it” correctly and properly.

1.To ask the students to discover how “it” is used in various ways.
2.To ask the students to summarize the use of “it”

1.To get the students to become interested in grammar learning.
2.To develop the students ability of comparing and summarizing.

1.To get the students to master the structure and usages of the pronoun “it”.
2.To enable the students to learn how to use “it”.

Step 1 Leading-in and Warming up
1、Let the students know the usage of “It”through some proverbs
2、Ask the students to have a look at a video and discuss the use of “it” with their partners.
Ask the students to think about the use of “it” according to the above proverbs and the video.
Step 2 Grammar learning
lets study the usage of It more deeply and carefully. Please take notes in detail.
The personal pronoun “it” and the impersonal pronoun “it”.
1.it作人称代词 ( a personal pronoun)
1.1.it的最基本用法是作人称代词,主要指刚提到的事物,以避免重复:(The most basic use of it is a personal pronoun, mainly referring to something that has just been mentioned, to avoid repetition:)
1.2.也可以指动物或婴儿(未知性别的婴儿或孩子):(It can also refer to an animal or a baby (an infant or child of unknown sex)
