Scanning 1.Read Para.2, complete Liu Yu’s information card. 2.Read Para.24, find out Liu Yu’s parents’ ideas. 3.Read Para.35, find out Liu Yu’s ideas. Purpose: To help Ss understand the passage in detail. Think deeply What will you do if you are LiuYu? How to get parents’ support? Purpose: To help Ss realize the difficulties to success and the importance of their decisions. And guide them to find proper ways to communicate with their parents.
