[Methods] According to knowledge archaeology， any science or knowledge cotruction is based on the maitream historical background and knowledge background at that tracing back to the history and knowledge background of the formation of ZHU Danxis theory of ministerial fire， this paper restores the reaso for the cotruction of ZHU Danxis theory of ministerial fire. [Results] The word ministerial fire had become an important concept in the cotruction of TCM theory in ZHU Danxis time. The long-term fumigation of Neo-Confucianism had a profound impact on ZHU Danxis medical thought. Therefore， ZHU Danxi put forward the medical argument that Yang often has more than Yin but is often iufficient and that Yang often has more than Yin is often iufficient to advance the theory of ministerial fire. Theoretical argumentation was carried out， and ZHU Danxis theory of ministerial fire gradually came into being.
