Thispaperpresentsanintervaloptimizationmethodforthedynamicresponseofstructureswithintervalpara-

meters.Thematricesofstructureswithintervalparametersaregiven.Combiningtheintervalextensionoffunctionwith

theperturbationtheoryofdynamicresponse,themethodforintervaldynamicresponseysisisderived.Theinterval

optimizationproblemistransformedintoacorrespondingdeterministicone.Becausethemeanvaluesandtheun-

certaintiesoftheintervalparameterscanbeelectedasthedesignvariables,moreinformationoftheoptimizationresults

canbeobtainedbythepresentmethodthanthatobtainedbythedeterministicone.Thepresentmethodisimplemented

foratrussstructureandaframestructure.Thenumericalresultsshowthatthemethodiseffective.
