Experimental teaching has always been the emphasis and difficulty for teaching of the course. The the- sis analyses some problems and deficiencies existing in the traditional experimental teaching. Aiming at solving these problems and deficiencies, we carry out a reform for the traditional experimental teaching sys- tem of the course Algorithm and Data Structure, put forward a new, open, hierarchical and innovative pattern for experimental teaching which is closely integrated with the theoretical teaching .The reform is conducted mainly from teaching methods, experimental content, laboratory management, experimental teaching evalua- tion system and other aspects. Through practice, it prove that this model can stimulate students’ interest in learning , mobilize the enthusiasm of the students, train the skill of analyzing and solving problems for the students. So it can effectively improve the quality of the experimental teaching for the course Algorithm and Data Structure.
