课 题 6 What do they want? 设计意图 一、教学目标:
1.?? Aims on the knowledge
(1)?? To enable the Ss to understand and speak: “Do you want a guitar? Yes, please. Does she want a guitar? No, she doesn’t.” Make sure that Ss can use these sentences in real situations.
(2)?? Let Ss finish the assessment of “Listen and circle” in this unit.
2.?? Aims on the abilities
(1)?? Asking about and expressing wants.
(2)?? Expressing the wants of others.
3.?? Aims on the emotion
(1)?? To foster Ss’ consciousness of good co-operation and proper competition.
(2)?? To lead Ss to show their love and thanks to others.
二、教材分析:
本单元是学习关于“询问及表达自己或他人所想要的物品”的句型知识,所学内容贴近学生生活实际,关注学生的生活经验Do you have … ? 和一些有关物品(文具)的表述,如ruler, book, pencil等Do you want a guitar? Yes, please. Does she want a guitar? No, she doesn’t.What do they want? They want a computer game.”学起来就比较容易。
在课时编排上,因为Vocabulary, Target, Practice 1, Activity1联系紧密,所以我把它们设计为第一课时;将Conversation, Song, Practice2设计为第二课时;将Activity 2, Sounds and words设计为第三课时。
预测学生学完了本单元后,将能够流利地运用“Do you want …? What do you want …?”等句型进行表示“询问”的交际活动。
三、教学重点:
(1)?? To help Ss ask and answer the question: Does she want a …?
(2)?? To enable Ss to study in groups.
(3)?? To develop Ss’ interest in English.
情景交际法直观教学法Computer, tape, some toys, words cards and pictures.
六、教学过程:
Step 1. Warm-up and preview
1.?? Greetings.
2.?? Sing the song : Do you have a fork? 3.?? Review the sentence: Do you have a ruler/ a fork / a knife? Do you like English / math?
Step 2. Presentation
1. ?Lead in
(1)Show a headwear of Tony and say:? “Hello, I’m Tony.What day is it today? Yes, it’s Monday today. It’s Jenny’s birthday today. Gogo wants to buy a present to Jenny.What does she want? Does she want a guitar? Does she want a doll? Let’s go to the toy shop to have a look.” (Help the Ss understand the meaning with the help of my body language. )
(2)Visit the toy shop and ask Ss: “What’s in the toy stor
