China) Abstract: The EUs eastern enlargement strategy w ill not only greatly spee up the transformation of political an economic system in Central an Eastern Europe, but also will provi e a strong impetus with the EUs strengthening further evelopment. For one eca e since its conception, the EUs eastern enlargement strategy has un ergone a lot of raw backs, an it is still face with a lot of ifficulties an challenges such as the eepening of the EU s structural reform, policy a justment, the ivergences of opinions; the huge economic gap betw een Central an Eastern Europe an the EU, the pressure of change of systems. However, people shoul have reason to be opti mistic about the prospect for the EUs eastern enlargement, an believe that it will pro uce increasingly greater in fluence on European an w orl political an economic or er.
