The Clinical Research of Jian Pi Hua Tan Tang on Diabetic Patients with Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease Specialty:Internal Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine Author:Zhao Lin Tutor:Prof.Xu Yunsheng Abstract Objective: To observe the clinical treatment effect and mechanism of action of jian pi hua tan tang whose main principles of prescription are jian pi hua tan huo xue on diabetes combined non-alcoholic fatty liver 。 Methods: There were 60 patients who were randomly divided into treatment group ( 30 cases ) and control group ( 30 cases ) .The two groups were given metformin enteric-coated tablets 0.25 tid ,oral. And treatment group was given jian pi hua tan tang;control group was given Bezafibrate 200mg, qd,oral.During two months time of observation, the main observation Indicators are clinical symptoms, blood sugar, blood lipids, glycated hemoglobin , liver function , body mass index , abdominal ultrasonography . Results: As a result treatment group fasting and two hours postprandial blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin , triglycerides , total cholesterol, high density lipoprotein , alanine aminotransferase , aspartate aminotransferase , glutamyl endopeptidase , body mass index, clinical symptoms show significant improvement over the previous and obvious difference compared with the control group . During the test, the patients show good compliance and no adverse reactions. Conclusion: Jian pi hua tan huo xue fa can reduce the blood sugar of diabetic patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease , blood lipids, lower body mass index , patients with high-density lipoprotein levels , improve insulin resistance
