Marketing Pieces Series 1: ‘marketing’ argument
According to statistics, China has 60 million marketing people, or about 5% of the total population, regardless of overall quantity and be called from the relative ratio of the first in the world. Po Po masters say justified, but a closer look we will find: Philip Kotler Marketing grasped the general - needs, emphasizing the importance of the product; Michael Porter captured the important theme of marketing - competition, stressed the importance of competition; Tom Peters captured the goal of marketing - the brand, emphasizing the marketing realm. 3 master different emphases, they are not wrong, we may wish to string together three master’s point of view and see what is marketing:
Marketing is focused on discovering customer needs as the basis for production of marketable products, and in a specific area of effective competition, restructuring of the various elements of the final completion of the creation and dissemination of the standard of living.
