[Abstract] 2002 March 12 to 26, my delegation to the United States medical education community hospital visits, visits, where we paid an inspection visit of the International Medical Education Institute. Global minimum essential requirements in medical education refers to the medical schools in training around the world, doctors must have the basic qualities should include medical knowledge, clinical function, professional attitude, behavior and ethics, communication functions, public health and health systems, information management and Critical thinking and research in seven areas, so-called basic requirement is the world’s doctors must have the basic capability or the basic quality, the students reflected the specific capabilities give us the definition of the teacher what to teach, the students should learn what all the medical practitioners are not even in the Winter kind of educational experience.
1, the International Institute of Medical Education Basic Profile:
Institute for International Medical Education Committee is responsible for developing the core of medical education ‘Global minimum essential requirements’. The Committee consists of experts in medical education around the world, composed of eight national and international experience with extensive education and health policy experts, the International Institute of Medical Education Steering Committee to guide IIME and core of the overall work of the Commission.
