Propofol on mechanical ventilation in patients with ARDS continued observation of the sedative effect Study: Liu Jing, Jin Zhaochen, Kyrgyzstan Musen, Xu Dayun [Abstract] Objective: To explore propofol in acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) in mechanically ventilated patients sedation therapy. Methods: A total of 62 cases of ARDS patients, mechanical ventilation, sedation with propofol after treatment of sedative effect observed Ramsay’s classification of grade onset time, duration, and wake-up time; dynamic monitoring of administration before and after withdrawal of respiratory, circulatory parameters. Results: Propofol sedation within 5 min after treatment that can achieve satisfied with the sedation, respiratory rate after administration, peak airway pressure, arterial oxygen pressure, oxygen saturation, oxygenation index was significantly improved (P lt;0.05); blood pressure, heart rate stability, no significant change compared with before treatment (Pgt; 0.05 ). Conclusion: Propofol can quickly reach ARDS patients required mechanical ventilation requires sedation, and sedation to maintain satisfactory and effective to ensure that mechanical ventilation to improve respiratory function in patients with ARDS, little effect on circulation.
