Network Learning Community Theory and Practice of
Abstract: The rapid development of network technology, Internet popularization and application to lead us into a new network era. Followed by the development of learning communities to the education technology community has proposed a new study. In this paper, the definition of network learning communities, analysis of its characteristics, describing its structure and function in conjunction with the participation of a U.S. long-distance writer cooperation project about its application in practice and finally it was predicted.

Into the 21st century, the people’s work, study and life will undergo major changes. This change mainly from the rapid development of the Internet. Network technology for education mounted, it is a wide-open platform. In the United States, almost private universities have established a campus network, parallel on the Internet, these universities and government departments, a large organization to help primary and secondary school teachers and students to create their own learning communities, provision of teaching, learning, discussion and exchange of garden . Japan’s “100 middle and primary schools pilot study of network” project through the construction of the Internet, the network learning community launched a series of scientific experiments, under the network environment to explore new educational system and teaching mode, in which three relatively well-known tests are (1) Pumpkin Growth Model; (2) acid rain research; (3) Hot News Forum. The project in the field of online teaching caused great repercussions.
