China) Abstract: The promulgation of- Sòcial Security Law pays more att巳ntion to protect the rights of the insured in the basic pension insurance. establishes a legal framework for the basic pension insurance system cov- ering urban and rural residents. and has made a significant progress in terms of the insurance scope and pension syste瓜 But at the same time. it exposes some imperfections. such as the ways to make national cσordination of social security fund and to make the pension continuity to transfer in differ ent places. The solution is to develop a series of supporting laws and regulations as soon as possible. and establish a vertical management system of the nation
