According to the latest Skytrax research, the best places to lay-over in the world are at Asian and Middle-Eastern airports with Cathay Pacific Airways getting the most thumbs up from business travellers. Most of the 1.4 million votes registered went to Cathay on the basis of its seating capacity, lounge decor, business facilities, washrooms, showers and leisure amenities, food and beverage selections, as well as the efficiency, friendliness and attitude of lounge staff. Gulf Air and Emirates came second and third in the survey.
