1. 学习并掌握下列重要词汇:thirsty, stress, (be) stressed out, early, problem

A: What’s the matter with Gina?
B: She’s tired.
A: She should go to bed early, she shouldn’t go to the party.
B: That sounds like a good idea.

I. Warm up
1. Revision (复习Section A中的句型)
Ask two students to act out a conversation between a doctor and a patient.
A: What’s wrong with you, young man?
B: I’m not feeling well. I have a stomachache.
A: When did it start?
B: About three hours.
A: Oh, that’s too bad. You should lie down and rest. And you shouldn’t eat anything for two hours.
B: Yes, I think so.
A: I hope you feel better soon.
2. Task:
Ask other groups to prepare the conversations about health.
II. Pre-task (预备任务)
1. Research(新知探究):
Task 1: Learn the new words.
1) 正音:由两名学生领读生词,教师及时正音,然后领读,学生齐读。
2) 听写单词(由于本课词汇少,因此可以听写与本课有关的短语):
Words: tired, hungry, thirsty, stress out,

3) A: What’s the trouble?
B: He is hungry.
A: He should eat some food.
B: That sounds like a good idea.
4) A: What’s wrong?
B: He is stressed out.
A: He should listen to music and relax.
B: Maybe you are right.
