Through an historical investigation on the formation of scientific and technological values of Frankfurt school, seeking out the political, economic and scientific factors in the alienation of science and technology under the developed capitalism, this article examines the embodiment of the alienation of science and technology in instrumental rationality, ideology, culture industry and daily life under capitalism, and then finds out that the Frankfurt school in the development process has always constructed its scientific and technological values under the guidance of humanitarianism. The construction of humanitarian values of science and technology of Frankfurt school reasserts the value subject position of human. It is not only a reflection of the alienation theory, but also one of the guiding principles for a comprehensive reflection on the capitalist system.
