Thank you for your job. -Please be seated, madam. -Would you please rearrange the flowers? -Could I have the drink list, please? -Would you please get us some kiwi juice, then? -Anything else? -What kind of soup would you prefer? -What would you like to follow? -The vegetable is not available right now because it is out of season. -Which brand of beer would you prefer? -Do you want this dish to be served in separate portions? F B Tasks of Practice ----- Sample of Task 1 ---- Setting table for a banquet Jane is an experienced banquet service staff. She is teaching Helena, a new employee how to set table for banquet. Jane: Hay, wait, wait, Helena. That’s not right. Helena: What’s the matter, Jane? Jane: Don’t you know things have changed lot? Helena: Yes? Jane: You know, formerly it was customary to place five glasses on the table at banquets. Helena: Formerly? You mean it is not the case now? Jane: Yes, Helena.
