It is a kind of language phenomenon with its own personality, and is an important component of the social language. Meanwhile it has profound influence on the social language and is closely linked with history and culture. As a language, journalistic language has the feature of the times, especially when it is a carrier of communication. The social life changes and develops continuously. As a kind of method and form ofreacting to the social development, journalistic language is the quickest, truest and most direct record of the social development. Journalistic language comes originally from social life and changes and develops with it. Thus inevitably, it should be close to the times in order to reflect social life exactly and truly. As a communication way of mass media, journalisticlanguage has a synchronic feature which is more obvious than any other language. Now，China ’s social life has changed a lot in many areas. Journalistic language should be much closer to the public and times. And through reporting the latest-happening event, policies of the party and the government could be transmitted to the people.
