Methods: 40 cases of severe sepsis and septic shock patient as the The experimental group , 20 cases of the health examination were the control group. The experimental group was divide with survival group(n=20) and died group(n=20).their general state of health and the score of APACHE II were record,to survery the tendency of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome and the number of the involvement organ .by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay the activity of the von Willebrand factor(vWF) and A disintegrin-like and metalloprotease with thrombospondin type 1 motif(ADAMTS13) was analyzed in 1,3, 5, 7ds in severe sepsis and septic shock group and calculate their ratio. The measurement data are expressed as the mean ± standard error of the mean. The differences between groups were analyzed using one-way analysis of variance And The receiver oper—ating characteristic analysis .Correlation analysis was performed using the Spearman test .A P value of 0.05 was considered to be statistically significant.by draw standard curve to explore the relationship in the the activity of the von Willebrand factor and A disintegrin-like and metalloprotease with thrombospondin type 1 motif,their ratio and the scoreof the APACHEII, the number of the functional defect organ. Result: The case fatality rate was 50% in the experimental group. The activity of the von Willebrand factor was significantly higher in experimental group than those in contro
