A simple combination of theories and practices cannot satisfy the need to cultivate a qualified interpreter. The complexity and volatility of interpretation process make it less predictable. Every single interpreter has his or her own characteristics, advantages and disadvantages, which means that many skills and theories are not necessarily suitable to all the people. And the interpreters should analyze problems and think about countermeasures by combining their own characteristics if they want to do an excellent job. This report is based on a conference interpretation simulation. The report points out the problems, mistakes that are easy to make and effective countermeasures by combining the knowledge the author has learned and the analysis for this practice. The content of this interpretation simulation is about the school food safety rectification work. This paper summarizes the preparation, performance and reflection, problems and countermeasures. At the same time, it also provides the direction to develop a way that suits the author most and find out solutions to better understand and deal with general crisis and raise interpretation ability to a higher level.
