Abstract As the party journals in Yan’an during the Anti-Japanese War, Liberation weekly （1937-1941）plays a very important role in constructing the Anti-Japanese National United Front and enlarging the influence of the Chinese Communist Party. And as its important component, comment column is very famous among the country and overseas because of its sharp writing style, the firm position and indomitable militancy. However, the study of liberation weekly and comment column is weak at present. Therefore, in this paper, research and combing of the content is very necessary. Its establishment and development has both the needs of the war, and because of the support and attention of the Party Central committee. Since its founding date, the central party committee leadership of Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Deng Xiaoping, Liu Shaoqi has always focused on the liberation weekly, published several articles in its, Mao Zedong to some important articles and even personally review. Liberation weekly is the most authoritative publication at the time of the system, then the mouthpiece of the Chinese Communist Party, but also the Chinese nation and the Chinese peoples voice. Comment as the pioneer of the liberation weekly, played a vanguard role.
