Comparing to developed countries, employment of the disabled in China is still preliminary stage. It has significant meaning both in theory and practice to study employment problem of the disabled and to elevate their employment rate. Currently, the social integration status of the disabled employments is as follows: low level of the disabled individual integration, inadequate influence of government guide, imperfect of social system and obsolete concept on social integration. The essential reason is social exclusion, which includes of individual self-exclusion, comprehensive social exclusion, ineffective policy security, and etc. Huangpu District is the center of Shanghai , which reflects basically the situation and characteristic of the employment status of the disabled in cities. This paper illustrates the employment status and social integration condition In-depth analysis of Huangpu District and give some policy proposals from social integration view: firstly, to strengthen government guide in order to lay the social foundation by improving legislations, implementing social value of equal employment and integrating of social resources. Secondly, to strengthen social support and construct harmonious social environment by Rehabilitation and education, explor- -ing urbanized patterns of employment, elevating social service quality. Thirdly, to establish social support network in order to help the disabled build Ⅴ Ⅴ self-confidence, upgrade self-capability, and take an active participation in social integration. The aim of promoting social integration in employment of the disabled is to make this vulnerable groups get rid of marginalization and exclusion.
