1007-3612(2010)09-0063-03 A Comparison of the Characteristics of Plantar Pressure of Senio r Women during Normal Walking and Striding across Obstacles at Different Heigh t FENG Yu?rong?1, ZHANG Cui?2, FENG Zun?peng?3 (1.Jilin Institute of P.E., Changchun 130022, JilinChina; 2.Shandong Sports Research Center,Jinan 250000, Shandong China;3.Zoucheng Gulukou Middle School, Zoucheng 273500, Shandong China) Abstract: In the research, 15 healthy senior female were randomly selected and Footscan 7 .9 test system produced by RSscan of Belgium was used to analyze the characteri stics of plantar pressure of support limb (left) and trail limb (right) during n ormal walking, and striding across 15cm and 25cm obstacles. It found that the p lantar pressure of support and trail limb at striding across the obstacles was s ignificantly different with that in the normal walking. The first and second pe ak pressure of support and trail limb at striding across the obstacles was signi ficant lower than that during the normal walking (p0.05) which illustrated thepower of first contact and last contact were decreasing in order to make body s table. The pressure of support limb at media heel, second, third and fifth meta tarsal were significantly decreased and the pressure of the trail limb at mediaand lateral heel, second, third, fourth metatarsal and great toe were significan tly decreased with the increase of the height of the obstacles. Key words: senior women, striding across the obstacles, plantar pressure , center of pressure
