abstract Abstract Food is an important economic social developing problem. In 2009 China put forward the slogan with an incremental 50 billion kilograms’ food productive capacity by 2020, Accordingly, Jiangxi government put forward the slogan with an incremental 5 billion kilograms’ food production capacity as its new target. Recently, Jiangxi vigorously promotes the construction of Poyang Lake ecological economic zone, promoting the development of industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization, which provides a new direction and space for the use of agricultural resources, it has a significant influence on food production and supply. The study of food production on the agricultural resources’ problem of Jiangxi , putting forward the slogan to use agricultural resources on the development of food production, to ensure the safety of food production methods and countermeasures, all these items have important theoretical and practical significance. In this paper, the author adopts the method of historical analysis and logic reasoning, and analyzes the features of agricultural resources utilization and food production in Jiangxi province since 1949, studies the rule of their evolution and interaction relationship ；Using the method of factor analysis and regression, forecasting analysis food production and the demand for agricultural resources, forecasts the cultivated land, fertilizers, agricultural machinery total power, agricultural labor force etc main agricultural resources supply in Jiangxi province in 2015, 2020. and Comparative analysis the differences between supply and demand
