What I have learned for the whole year will be beneficial for my future English teaching. I will try my best to put the teaching theories I learned into practice. My thesis is accomplished under the constant encouragement of my teachers and friends, so I express my deepest gratitude to all of them. First of all, I’d like extend my gratitude to my supervisor, Professor Li Xiangling from whom I benefit a lot. She gave me invaluable advice from the beginning to the end. I was deeply influenced by her professional dedication, enthusiasm for life, strict attitude towards work and friendliness to everyone. Then, I’m grateful to my instructor Zhai Zhiyuan and my classmates who always supported me while I was preparing for my thesis. I also want to thank my colleagues in Sui County for their participation in the investigation. They provided me with valuable data for the study. I I Abstract Since the Ministry of Education put forward the National Curriculum Standards for English Education in 2001, elementary educators have begun to further attach great importance to New Curriculum Reformation and Quality-oriented Education to cater for the new challenges. Influenced by the new curriculum reform, the teaching mode guided by the learning plan was presented.
